Accessibility Statement
Last updated September 4, 2026
Our commitment
People come to this site to sort out health coverage. Many are doing it while unwell, worried, or short of time, and a good number use a screen reader, magnification, captions, or a keyboard instead of a mouse. A site about health insurance that is hard to use is failing at the one thing it exists to do.
We are committed to keeping this site usable for everyone, and we treat an accessibility problem as a defect rather than an enhancement.
The standard we build to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
This site is currently partially conformant with that standard: most of it conforms, but a full independent audit has not yet been completed, so we cannot honestly claim more than that. This statement will be updated when it has.
What we have done
Body text is set at 18 pixels and text contrast is targeted at 7:1, which exceeds the AA requirement, because a lot of our readers are over sixty.
Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, and focus indicators are always visible. We never remove them.
Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels, so buttons and links are usable with imprecise pointing or a tremor.
The site is built from semantic HTML with a skip link, one main heading per page, and headings in a sensible order. Pages work at 200% zoom and reflow to narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
Motion is close to absent by design, and what remains is disabled for anyone whose system requests reduced motion.
The site does not rely on color alone to convey meaning, and does not use carousels, countdown timers, auto-playing media, or pop-up modals.
Known limitations
The pre-launch audit — a full keyboard pass, a screen reader pass, and testing on real mobile devices — has not yet been carried out. Until it has, there may be problems we do not know about.
Parts of the enrollment process take place on HealthSherpa and on insurance carrier websites, which we do not build or control. We cannot guarantee their accessibility. If you hit a barrier on one of them, call us and we will complete the process with you over the phone.
Some documents produced by insurance carriers, such as policy summaries and benefit schedules, are PDFs created by the carrier. Their accessibility varies and is outside our control. Ask us and we will get you the information in another format.
If something does not work, tell us
Email ollie@wellcoveredsolutions.com or call 702-213-7375. Please tell us the page and what went wrong — that is usually enough for us to reproduce it.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to fix genuine barriers quickly. Reports about this site are welcome from anyone, whether or not you are a customer.
You can always use the phone instead
Nothing on this site has to be done online. If any part of it is not working for you, call 702-213-7375 and a licensed broker will do it with you — comparisons, applications and enrollment included. That is not a lesser service; it is how a good deal of our business is done anyway.
